Two-day meeting of explanatory analytical overview of the acquis for chapter 18 referring to statistics finished yesterday in Luxembourg. The meeting was opened by the chief of working group Gordana Radojevic and advisor to the Directorate for Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Turkey and Iceland in the Directorate-General for Enlargement Marta Garcia Fidalgo Representatives of the European Commission introduced content of this chapter to the members of Montenegrin working group and provided necessary information and instructions for further harmonisation and application of the European legislation.

Arms Trade Treaty signed

At the signing ceremony at the headquarters of the United Nations in New York, yesterday on June 3, Permanent Representative to UN Ambassador Milorad Sćepanović signed on behalf of Montenegro the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT). Apart from Montenegro, the Treaty was signed by 65 other states, among which 24 of them are EU Member States (Poland, Bulgaria and Slovakia omitted) as well as Brazil, Australia etc. STATEMENT by H.E.
