Round table in Plav on the draft law on Montenegro’s relations with the diaspora

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration organised, in cooperation with the municipality of Plav, a round table on the draft law on Montenegro’s relations with the diaspora. The Ministry was represented by Vladimir Radulović, State Secretary for Political Affairs, Branko Milić, deputy head of the working group that prepared the draft law, Predrag Mitrović, director for diaspora, and Gordan Stojović, deputy director for diaspora and member of the working group that prepared the draft law.

Montenegro's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Igor Lukšić participated yesterday in Brussels in a working dinner attended by foreign ministers from the EU member states and the candidate countries, traditionally hosted by EU High Representative Catherine Ashton. The working dinner was also attended by EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle.

“Getting Ready for Europe” project cooperation and implementation memorandum inked

Earlier today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration signed a Memorandum on Cooperation for the implementation of the project “Getting Ready for Europe” with the public broadcaster RTCG, NGO Centre for Civic Education, and NGO Centre for the Development of Non-governmental Organisations. This project, whose signature product is the “Hello Europe” TV quiz, is supported by the EU Delegation to Montenegro.

Paris: Montenegrin and Croatian tourist agencies hold workshop with French tour-operators

Montenegro’s and Croatia’s embassies in France and the two national tourist organisations joined forces to help organise, on 4 February in Paris, a business workshop for Montenegrin and Croatian tourist agencies and French tour-operators, with the view to boosting cross-border region tourism of the Montenegrin coast and the Dubrovnik-Neretva region.
