Montenegrin delegation, headed by Ambassador Željko Perović, Director General for Bilateral Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, had a two-day visit to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia. Montenegrin delegation was hosted by Ambassador Goran Petrović, Deputy Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for bilateral cooperation, and Ms Aleksandra Kovač, director of the Diplomatic Academy.

Warsaw: Marubi photography exhibition: “Reflecting our traditions, reflecting ourselves”

Embassy of Montenegro in Poland, Municipality of Ulcinj, and the Museum of the Warsaw University organised the exhibition “Marubi: Reflecting our traditions, reflecting ourselves.” It is the result of cross-border cooperation between Montenegro and Albania and organised within the EU-funded project “Marubi: a cooperative model for the promotion of tourism between Shkodra and Ulcinj” in the framework of the IPA Cross-Border Programme Albania-Montenegro 2007-2013.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration organised, in cooperation with the municipality of Plav, a round table on the draft law on Montenegro’s relations with the diaspora. The Ministry was represented by Vladimir Radulović, State Secretary for Political Affairs, Branko Milić, deputy head of the working group that prepared the draft law, Predrag Mitrović, director for diaspora, and Gordan Stojović, deputy director for diaspora and member of the working group that prepared the draft law.

Montenegro's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Igor Lukšić participated yesterday in Brussels in a working dinner attended by foreign ministers from the EU member states and the candidate countries, traditionally hosted by EU High Representative Catherine Ashton. The working dinner was also attended by EU Commissioner for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy Štefan Füle.
