Montenegrin Government's statement on crisis in Ukraine

Starting from its European commitments, strongly supporting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and stressing the need to respect international obligations and generally accepted principles, including the United Nations Charter, the Helsinki Final Act and the 1994 Budapest Memorandum, Montenegro, as an EU candidate country, joins the conclusions of the EU Council on Ukraine of 3 March 2014.

It is my great honor to meet you all here once again and to address the High-Level Segment of the 25th Session of the Human Rights Council on behalf of Montenegro. I would particularly like to express my appreciation to H.E. Ms. Navi Pillay and her team for their dedication and skilful leading of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
