Turkey in favour of closer cooperation with Montenegro and other Western Balkans countries

State Secretary for Political Affairs Ambassador Vladimir Radulović met earlier today in Podgorica with Murat Salim Esenli, Deputy Undersecretary for European affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey. Ambssador Radulović and Mr Esenli met within the third round of bilateral political consultations. The central topics of the consultations were EU accession negotiation progress and Montenegro’s Euro-Atlantic agenda, with a special emphasis on Montenegro’s aspirations and expectations related to the forthcoming NATO summit in Wales.
