The Government of Montenegro has made a decision to declare a diplomatic representative accredited to the Embassy of the Russian Federation persona non grata and to withdraw the consent of the honourary consul of the Russian Federation in Montenegro. The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Podgorica was informed of the measures with a seven-day deadline for the diplomatic representative to leave Montenegro.

Tehran: Direct line will increase number of tourists from Iran

General Director for Consular Affairs Selim Lika met in Tehran with General Director of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ali Chegeni for talks on the establishment of a Montenegro Airlines’ direct line Podgorica-Tehran. In this regard, the two officials assessed that the opening of a direct airline will contribute to more intense cooperation between the two countries in the field of tourism and the greater influx of Iranian tourists.
