Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prof Srdjan Darmanović, PhD, received today the UK Ambassador to Montenegro, Ian Robert Whitting.

Minister Darmanović wished the Ambassador a successful mission and expressed Montenegro's readiness to continue the existing excellent cooperation with the Federal Republic of Germany. He reiterated his gratitude to Germany for its continued support to the integration of Montenegro into NATO and the EU, and the completion of the ratification process of Montenegro’s Accession Protocol for NATO. He welcomed Germany’s continued policy of active engagement in supporting all countries of the region, expressing his expectation that it would continue to be the same strong advocate of the Western Balkans’ European perspective through the Berlin process in the forthcoming period.
