Minister of Foreign Affairs Srđan Darmanović met with Nimrod Rinot, Honorary Consul of Montenegro in the State of Israel Minister Darmanović expressed his satisfaction with the meeting and pointed out that we appreciate the outstanding personal contribution of the Honorary Consul in terms of intensifying the overall bilateral cooperation between Montenegro and the State of Israel. In this context, he recalled numerous initiatives of the Honorary Consulate with the aim of strengthening economic, cultural and scientific ties between the two countries.

Germany enacted the act ratifying Montenegro’s NATO Accession Protocol

With the enactment of the act ratifying Montenegro’s Protocol of Accession to NATO by Bundestag, the German Parliament, the Federal Republic of Germany completed toady the parliamentary ratification procedure. The act was adopted without deliberation and was supported by the majority of members.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prof Srđan Darmanović, PhD, received today the Director for Western Europe, Western Balkans and Turkey in the European External Action Service (EEAS), Angelina Eichhorst. The meeting was attended by the Head of the EU Delegation to Montenegro, Ambassador Aivo Orav. The main topics discussed included the current political situation in Montenegro and the region, and the EU and Euro-Atlantic integration processes.

Apart from the Foreign Ministers of Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania, the meeting was also attended by the European Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, Secretary General to the Regional Cooperation Council, Goran Svilanović, and Italy’s Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Vincenzo Amendola.
