Darmanović- Eichhorst: Montenegro sets an example for the region Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prof Srđan Darmanović, PhD, received today the Director for Western Europe, Western Balkans and Turkey in the European External Action Service (EEAS), Angelina Eichhorst. The meeting was attended by the Head of the EU Delegation to Montenegro, Ambassador Aivo Orav. The main topics discussed included the current political situation in Montenegro and the region, and the EU and Euro-Atlantic integration processes.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prof Srđan Darmanović, PhD, attended today in Skopje the meeting of the Western Balkans Six Foreign Ministers, upon the invitation of the Macedonian Foreign Minister, Nikola Poposki. Apart from the Foreign Ministers of Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Albania, the meeting was also attended by the European Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, Secretary General to the Regional Cooperation Council, Goran Svilanović, and Italy’s Undersecretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Vincenzo Amendola.
