Minister Darmanović with newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Egypt, Georgia and Indonesia

Minister of Foreign Affairs Prof. Dr. Srđan Darmanović had meetings today with newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt Saïd Hindam, the Republic of Georgia Zaal Gogsadze and the Republic of Indonesia Mochammad Chandra Widya Yudha

Congratulating Ambassador Hindam on assuming his duties, head of Montenegrin diplomacy expressed his pleasure with good relations between two countries and underlined interest to further develop bilateral cooperation, as well as to intensify political dialogue at the highest level. Egyptian Ambassador emphasized the importance of closer communication between two countries, foremost in terms of organizing business forums with an aim of stronger economic cooperation.

At the meeting with ambassador Gogsadze, Minister Darmanović assessed relations between Montenegro and Georgia as friendly and substantive, while expressing pleasure with cooperation on multilateral level. In terms of Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia, Minister reaffirmed our strong support to the Alliance’s open door policy. Ambassador Gogsadze underlined that his diplomatic mission will be directed on strengthening of ties in the areas of tourism, agriculture and energetics.

It was stated during the meeting with the Ambassador of Indonesia that two countries have good cooperation, as well as underlined the interest to intensify political contacts at the highest level in times to come. Minister Darmanović pointed out the potentials for further development of cooperation between Montenegro and Indonesia, with a particular focus on the area of tourism. Ambassador Yudha emphasized the successful cooperation on the multilateral plan and stated that he will be dedicated to the development of more dynamic bilateral contacts during his term of office.
