Budva: The Third Foreign Ministers’ Meeting of the Adriatic Trilateral was held

Minister of Foreign Affairs prof. Dr. Srđan Darmanović hosted today in Budva the Third Foreign Ministers’ Meeting of the Adriatic Trilateral.

Besides the Head of Montenegrin diplomacy, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia Marija Pejčinović-Burić and the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Albania Ditmir Bušati participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, ministers of the three Adriatic countries discussed important security, political and economic issues in the Region, Euro-Atlantic and European integration, as well as cooperation in the filed of energy, tourism and environmental protection.

At today's meeting, a Joint Statement was adopted which, among other things, defines that good neighborly relations and regional cooperation, through exchange of experiences, remain key elements in terms of full regional integration to the EU.

After Montenegro, Croatia took over the Chairmanship of the Initiative of the Adriatic Trilateral.
